Oscar de la Renta, the famous fashion designer who died on Monday at the age of 82, will be buried at a private funeral on Nov. 3 at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola at Park Avenue in Manhattan, Reuters reported.
De la Renta died last week at his Connecticut home at the age of 82, following a battle with cancer. For decades, he dressed socialites, first ladies and Hollywood stars in designs that combined intricate workmanship with the most luxurious of materials.
The Dominican-born designer was equally admired on the Hollywood red carpet as he was at socialite's soirees. And most recently, Amal Alamuddin wore a de la Renta-designed wedding dress when she married George Clooney at a lavish wedding in Venice.
