Kuwaiti envoy opens humanitarian projects in Zanibar
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tanzania Jassim Al-Najim inaugurated a mosque, a school and a well in two villages in Zanzibar.
These three projects were funded by donations made by Kuwaiti good-doers and were constructed under the supervision of Direct Aid institution.
"Other small humanitarian projects are being underway," Kuwaiti Ambassador said in a statement on Wednesday.
The projects aim at providing life-saving assistance, education, healthcare, clean water, mosques and orphanages, he added.
Al-Najim inspected these projects, including a land allocated to building a new Direct Aid headquarters.
